Sambodhi Yoga Retreat having two retreat centers, one right on a Village Beach, and other a Home stay on a quiet suburb in Alleppey, Kerala, is the perfect place to host a retreat, workshop or yoga teacher training!

We love to share our place with yoga teachers to organize their own yoga retreats, or any other retreat of spiritual based techniques. The yoga retreat center can be rented / hired by any teacher of any tradition to conduct their own retreats no matter the subject matter and any course structure.

Besides your group activities, you can relax and enjoy the backwater & beaches near Alleppey, while feasting on a wide variety of food options, including vegetarian and raw choices; and soak up the unique vibe with an eclectic mix of friendly and open-minded guests from around the world. You can even relax and unwind at the end of the day with a private live musical evening offered!

Examples of the types of groups that we have hosted include Yoga retreats and teacher training courses, Zen Meditation, and healing courses, meditation retreats, cleansing retreats and Self Development courses.

Our Yoga Home stay at Alleppey Facilities Include:

• Sambodhi Yoga Café is an amazing place to relax in a positive and energizing environment. We usually serve a mixture of Ayurveda based food inspired from various regions of India. However if your retreat requires a special diet regiment for your students, we are willing to accommodate your needs as long as you provide the recipes for, Raw, and Gluten free diets

• Our Airy yoga shala can accommodate about 16 persons are available to conduct the practices of Asana and classes.

• Our Zen Mediation room can accommodate 12 Persons with Meditation Cushions.

• Ayurveda treatments are available on request at nearby Ayurveda Spa located in our beach premises.

Yoga/Zen Spaces

We are delighted to have two beautiful spaces for private retreats – designed in harmony with their eco surroundings. Each hall is cleaned on a daily basis, according to your schedule.

Yoga Shala

This Airy, secluded space is topped with a Private deck, having a 180 degree view of the surroundings.  Together, the Yoga Space has been called magical, vibrant and powerful.  This hall is suitable for most activities and can accommodate groups of up to 40 people for sitting or up to 16 people for yoga and similar activities.

• 12 x 04 square meter area with Red oxide cement floor

• Fully mosquito screened

• Water filter and tea making facilities

• Yoga mats

• Yoga blocks

• Cushions

• White Board and markers

• High quality sound system (2 x 200 watt speakers) with mini jack input and wireless handheld microphones

Zen Meditation Room

Nestled among the tree tops overlooking the garden, Zen Room gives one the feeling of being on solitude!  This secluded space lives up to its name and is ideal for smaller groups of up to 12 people.

Accommodation & Yoga Space Options & Rates

We are pleased to be able to offer our accommodation space for private retreats. Set in our gardens on 3 levels, there are 2 private rooms (en-suite) one on Top floor were 7 can sleep and another on 1st floor adjacent Yoga hall with 3 can sleep.

This is our best value accommodation, available for rent at a special group rate of Rs 4,500 per night (For 03 Rooms,with complementary usage of Yoga/Zen Space).Discounts are available during quieter periods.

• Traditional Kerala Cottages.

• Total Accommodation capacity can go up to 40 Person with associated Villas around.

Yoga Shala

This Airy, secluded space is called Bamboo Shala, is Radiant and quiet space.  This hall is suitable for most activities and can accommodate groups of up to 50 people for sitting or up to 24 people for yoga and similar activities.
